We are delighted to announce
The Combined World and ECH Fan32 Championships.

This Festival of shooting is to be held in the same week at Clube de Caca e Pesca de Ovar, Portugal.
​There will be 2 GBR selection processes during that week.
 
The first selection for the ECH GBR Teams (including the Mixed Teams) will take place on Wednesday 25th May using the ‘President Cup’(PC). Any ties will be resolved by one of 2 ways. If tied shooters are in the PC shoot off those results will decide the places. If our tied shooters are not in the PC Shoot off, then the Fedecat Grand Prix (FGP), the following day will be used to resolve ties.
 
The second selection for the WCH GBR teams (including the Mixed Teams) will take place on Thursday 26th May using the Fedecat Grand Prix. Any ties will be resolved by one of 2 ways. If tied shooters are in the FGP shoot off those results will decide the places. If our tied shooters are not in the FGP shoot off, then the European Championships, the following day will be used to resolve ties.

The World Fan 32 Championships is the REAL and only ORIGINAL propeller game. All others are watered down fake copies and do not make the heart pump with emotion and passion for this game..
If you are 'BRAVE' enough to play the 'REAL' game then the selection shoot for the GBR Senior Team will take place on Thursday 12th July 2018 during the Grand Prix Fedecat.

The World Trap 5 Championships will be held at the beautiful Real Sociedad De Tiro A Vuelo De Sevilla. This shooting ground was opened in 2010 and has 6 Olympic layouts, a beautiful clubhouse with a restaurant, a bistro, two bars and a substantial  lounge with lots of sofas and wide screen TV. It also has an armoury.
The shooting ground will be open for practice from Tuesday 26th September.

The GBR selection shoot will take place on Thursday 28th of September, if you wish to be considered for our GBR Teams please notify James on [email protected]

The competition starts on the 30th September.
Day 1 - 100 clays
Day 2 - 50 clays
Flash Final - Top 6 shooters.

Are you ready for the trip to 'The Cathedral'?
Many nations will be gathering for the  
World Fan 32 Championships.
14th - 17th September 2017

The World Fan 32 Championships will be held at Clube de Tiro Somontes, Madrid in September. This is a beautiful historic private members club high on a hill in El Pardo (the King's hunting estate). It opens its doors each year for specific signature competitions. Shooters from all over the World attend these events and the club is fondly referred to by the top shooters in the world as 'The Cathedral'. The British are well known at this club. Several are members and regularly enjoy shooting competitions looking out onto the spectacular and panoramic landscape.
The British Selection Shoot for the GBR teams will take place during the Fedecat Grand Prix on the 14th September.

Registration is done at the club so please make sure that you are registered by 12 noon on the 14th.

GBR Team selection will take place on Thursday the 22nd June 2017. If you want to be considered for selection you must send an email to
[email protected] stating that you will be shooting the selection shoot. 
A list of selection times will be sent out nearer the time and you must be available all day.
Only those who reply by email will be entered into the selection shoot. If you have to leave the ground before the selection is complete you will forfeit the chance to be selected.

It’s a lot like Sportasc in that there is no Gun Position Rule.
It is a lot like our beloved 'Old Style' fitasc sporting in that you stay to shoot a series of traps from different positions on the same layout and you shoot layouts with combinations of Singles and Doubles, on reports and simos.
It is a very enjoyable way of shooting sporting clays.

British Team Selection.

1. The selection of the GBR team will take place on the 1/9/16 at O'Pinhal.
2. The selection will be 50 targets to be shot before 3.30pm.
3. Any tied scores will be settled by a shoot off on the 2/9/16.
4. The opening ceremony takes place on the 2/9/16 and the back number are given out at approximately 5.30pm.
5. At the opening ceremony, any and all British shooters present can (if they want to) walk as the GBR team. We are all equal in Fedecat-UK.
6. The High Gun from the selection shoot will take the honour of leading the GBR Team as Team Captain. 
7. Fedecat-UK are very happy for any shooters who have previously shot for any GBR team (be it ISSF, Fedecat or fitasc) to wear their GBR uniform should they choose to do so.

GBR Team Selection procedure for these European Championships.
For those who are interested in shooting for the British Team please note that the GBR team selection will take place at the Las Gabias shooting ground, Granada, Spain on Thursday 2nd of June over 50 Trap 5 targets.  (Two rounds)
Any tied places will be decided by shoot offs on Friday 3rd of June.
The start time and squads will be notified on Wednesday 1st of June to all who have indicated that they will be attending selection.

Licence Agreement signed for Sport Fedecat.

Sport Fedecat is one of the new disciplines designed by CM FEDECAT (a World Governing body based in Spain) to give shooters more discipline choices.
Fedecat-UK are delighted to announce that Allison and Steve Lovatt of The Clay Shooting Company, whose signature grounds are Westfield, Weston Wood, Windrush and Garlands, have signed a Licence Agreement to run Sport Fedecat in the UK. Steve will add Sport Fedecat shoots to The Clay Shooting Company calendar so that people can try this new discipline during the summer.

We are also extremely pleased that Steve has agreed to sit on the Fedecat-UK management board to promote and develop this discipline in the UK.

British Shooter Steve Lovatt wins Bronze in Portugal.

Congratulations to GBR shooter Steve Lovatt of The Clay Shooting Company who won Bronze at the
Sport Fedecat - Grand Prix - Portugal
26th - 27th March.

Steve entered the 6 man Flash Final in second place and after a tough final broadcast by Spanish TV he brought the Bronze medal home.

​Licence Agreements signed with Fauxdegla Shooting Ground and Beverley Clay Target Centre.

Fedecat-UK is delighted to announce that it has signed Licence Agreements with both Fauxdegla Shooting Ground and Beverley Clay Target Centre to run the new Fedecat disciplines such as Trap 5 and Trap 3 in the UK.

These are both top class shooting grounds and we are very excited to be involved with them. They are working hard to give all shooters new and exciting disciplines which will add an innovative further dimension to trap shooting in the UK.

Here are some mixed images from the Fauxdegla Facebook page and the Beverley CTC facebook page. I hope that those of you who are not familiar with these two fantastically well-equipped shooting grounds, take the time to have a look at the pictures and then visit and 'like' their Facebook pages. 

Don't forget that the first open 'have a go day' for Trap 5 will be at Fauxdegla Shooting Ground on the 28th of March. Everyone is welcome to come and see what it is all about and have a go at £5 per round.

​We are extremely pleased that Mike Faux has kindly joined the Fedecat-UK committee to look after the Trap disciplines. 
It is a great pleasure to welcome these two premier shooting grounds to the Fedecat-UK family.

European and World Titled events will be held for the first time in the new disciplines Fan 32, Trap 3 and Sport Fedecat during 2015 in Spain and Portugal. Both these countries are well known to British shooters for being friendly and welcoming venues for competitions. This is not a Federation for elitist attitudes because it welcomes all shooters equally. It is a Federation for ‘triers’ and the only requisite is that the shooters who want to become members, have a passion for competing. 

The first European Championship 
in the new discipline of 
Trap 3 is to take place in Mira, Portugal from the  24th to 28th of June 2015.
