2020 International Trap 5 Programmes
The Trap 5 World Championships - O'Pinhal, Portugal
5th and 6th Spetember 2020
Once again we are thrilled to be returning to the O'Pinhal shooting ground in Portugal, for the World Trap 5 Championships.
This is a great shooting complex with 6 trap ranges.
As soo as the official programme is received later in the year we will attach it here as a PDF file.
Selection for the GBR Mens. Ladies, Mixed and ParaTrap Teams will take place on 3rd of September at O'Pinhal over 50 targets on 2 layouts. Top 3 score to count in the category teams and Top 2 Ladies scores and top 2 Men scores (from either category) to count in the Mixed teams.

The Trap 5 World Championship is to be held at the beautiful Valencia Club.
This year we are please to announce that we have a Paraclay category and prizes.
Official practice 30th August
Competition 31st August 100 targets
and 1st September 50 targets.
There will be a Flash Final for the top 6
Please remember you need to be a Fedecat UK member.
Selection shoot for GBR team is on the Friday.
Top 3 make the team.
Entry payment - bank details are shown in the programme.

European Trap 5 Championships - Braga, Portugal
1st and 2nd June 2019.
We are delighted to be able to visit this new shooting ground in Braga for the 2019 European Trap 5 Championships.
The Championship starts on Saturday 1st of June and runs for 2 days.
We will shoot 100 targets on the Saturday and 50 targets on the Sunday. The top 6 scores will then go into a Flash Final to find the winners.
Again there are some fantastic prizes including a lottery draw for 500E.
Selection for British Team will be on Thursday 30th May and as usual will be over 2 rounds (50 targets) followed by shoot offs if needed.
There are 3 types of teams. The mens team, the ladies team and the mixed teams.
The 3 highest scoring men will shoot in the GBR mens team and the 3 highest scoring women will shoot in the GBR ladies team. The mixed team will consist of the highest man and the highest women shooting as GBR1 and the second highest man and second highest woman shooting as GBR2.
Please remember that you will need to submit your gun declaration form by the 17th May 2019

The GBR selection shoot will be on the 27th of September.
The top 3 shooters with the highest scores will represent GBR at this event.

The World Trap 5 Championships will be held at the beautiful Real Sociedad De Tiro A Vuelo De Sevilla. This shooting ground was opened in 2010 and has 6 Olympic layouts, a beautiful clubhouse with a restaurant, a bistro, two bars and a substantial lounge with lots of sofas and wide screen TV. It also has an armoury.
The shooting ground will be open for practice from Tuesday 26th September.
The GBR selection shoot will take place on Thursday 28th of September, if you wish to be considered for our GBR Teams please notify James on [email protected]

The deadline date is 19th August. This must be made by bank transfer and the IBAN and SWIFT numbers are clearly shown in the programme. Confirmation of the payment when made must be sent by email to [email protected] This email must also be copied to Fedecat-UK on the following email. [email protected] British Team Selection.
1. The selection of the GBR team will take place on the 1/9/16 at O'Pinhal. 2. The selection will be 50 targets to be shot before 3.30pm. 3. Any tied scores will be settled by a shoot off on the 2/9/16. 4. The opening ceremony takes place on the 2/9/16 and the back number are given out at approximately 5.30pm. 5. At the opening ceremony, any and all British shooters present can (if they want to) walk as the GBR team. We are all equal in Fedecat-UK. 6. The High Gun from the selection shoot will take the honour of leading the GBR Team as Team Captain. 7. Fedecat-UK are very happy for any shooters who have previously shot for any GBR team (be it ISSF, Fedecat or fitasc) to wear their GBR uniform should they choose to do so. 8. Are you entering the GBR selection on the 2nd of June. Yes / No Entry fee will be paid on arrival at the shooting ground. GBR Team Selection procedure for these European Championships. For those who are interested in shooting for the British Team please note that the GBR team selection will take place at the Las Gabias shooting ground, Granada, Spain on Thursday 2nd of June over 50 Trap 5 targets. (Two rounds) Any tied places will be decided by shoot offs on Friday 3rd of June. The start time and squads will be notified on Wednesday 1st of June to all who have indicated that they will be attending selection. |
